The watercolor paintings of Marilyn Caldwell are represented in more than 500 public and private collections in the United States, the Middle East, and Europe.

Her museum exhibitions have included Currier Gallery of Art, Mattatuck Museum, Slater Memorial Museum, The Museum of Art, Science and Industry, The White House, The Wadsworth Atheneum, and The Smithsonian Institute. Her work is in the permanent collection of the late Thomas Hoving, former director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, as well as the National Arts Club of New York City and the Smithsonian Institute.

Caldwell, who studied at the Rhode Island School of Design, resides in southern Connecticut.
